William Murphy

Born: abt Sept 1837 in Ireland. She was nicknamed, 'Delia'
Died: She died after 1881
Records show her listed as Delia and/or Bridget intermixed. In the baptism
records of her children, Bridget has listed a maiden surname of Waldron and
also of Barry. In the 1870 Lafayette Census, there was an Anmora Waldron,
age 75 from Ireland living with the Murphy family, so possibly her mother.
Using the 1860 Census, they would have immigrated from Ireland to Ohio, U.S.
between 1855-1858. Unknown where in Ireland they came from. Family
memory is that they came from County Cork, but unverified.
They had three children:
John Ambrose Murphy Born: 20 June 1861
Catherine Murphy Born: 8 Apr 1865
George Murphy Born 1 Oct 1867
