evidence...may have died in a steam boiler explosion)

Anton immigrated to Arkansas, U.S.
on December 13, 1888 via the ship "S.S. Australia" (from "Genman's to America",
vol. 57, by Glazier and Filby). Amalie (his wife) was not listed as a
passenger, but Anton's children were: Mathilda, age 16, Elisabeth, 14,
Franciska, 7, Dominikus, 4, Anton was 52.
In the 1893 Little Rock, Arkansas Phone directory he is listed as:
"Prothman, Anton, driver res 711 E 8th"

As a side note: Anton had a cousin Frank Prothmann who married a lady
named Elisabeth age 38. She arrived with children in port of Baltimore 5
July 1887, aboard "SS Donau" from Bremen: her husband was not listed.
Children: Otto age 10, Hedwig age 8, Franz age 7, Rosalia age 4, Julius age 3.
