Other Hikes

This hike in British Columbia takes you onto the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Here we hiked the West Coast Trail famous for its ladders and bridges.

A taste of the Colorado Trail, we did two different sections both very different, however when the heavy snow came, we ended our hike a few days early.

Idaho is my home State and I am just a good hour away from the marvelous Sawtooth Mountains and Wilderness area. I am adding short hikes on the Idaho page.

This was a short hike in Sikiim, now a state of India. It was part of our Kingdoms tour and the hiking was over very rough terrain.

On the Nepal page are three different hikes all in different areas of the country. I am always happy hiking in Nepal, each time I go back I feel as though I have just come home.

My trip to Peru and Bolivia included a six day trek in the Andes Mountains from Mollepata to the Sun Gates of Machu Pichu.

In Utah we went into the Canyons of the Grand Staircase, Escalante National Monument and also into the Capital Reef National Park.

Oregon was the State of two hikes with the BackpackingLight Group in the years 2000 and 2002.
